Akash is a venture of Beximco Communications which is part of country's top private company Beximco Group.
The new package that Akash announced is called ‘AKASH Lite Plus’. In this package, customers will get to enjoy 90 channels, out of which, 26 are HD. Monthly subscription fee for this package is only 300 taka. The company had two existing packages. These were called AKASH Standard and AKASH Lite. The new one aims to reduce the gap in viewers’ choices and subscription fees.
In the last couple of years, Akash became very popular.
