HSBC honours five exporters

International bank HSBC honored five prominent exporters for contributing to the growing economy in the country.

DBL Group, a growing and one of the leading export-oriented apparel companies was awarded in ‘textile and garment companies’ sector with more than USD50 million of yearly export turnover. This family run business was established in 1991 and now is exporting its products to about 47 countries in the world.

Ha-Meem Denim Ltd. was awarded in the ‘textile and garment category’ with about USD50 million annual export turnovers. This company works for Kohl's, H&M, American Eagle, Next, Tesco and Wal-Mart.

Hong Kong based Epic Garments Manufacturing Company, one of the largest non-iron and non-wash bottoms manufacturers established in 1972, was awarded in the ‘export processing zones’ category. This company is operating in the country for over 30 years. Global brands like Gap, Nautica, Lee, Kohl's, Wal-Mart, Haggar and JCPenney are its customers.

Square Pharmaceuticals the pioneer of medicine exporter in the country, was awarded in the ‘traditional and emerging sectors’ category with USD5 million annual export turnovers. Now it is exporting medicine to more than 39 countries.

A graphic design company TradeXcel Graphics Ltd. won the award in the small and medium enterprises category. The company was established in 2006.
