Demand for kitchenware, plastic items up at DITF

In the Dhaka International Trade Fair 2017, kitchenware and plastic products were sold high and other goods are also in demands. The selling of some other products like Home appliances, electronics goods, furniture, apparel, cosmetics and foodstuffs were also good. Buyers visited the pavilions to buy their desired ones. Though some exhibitors said they are happy with their selling at biggest trade fair in country.
In this year’s fair, there were 580 stalls of which 30% are selling locally made goods which are far better than that of foreign brands. Among the local brands, furniture, kitchenware, food, textiles and plastic sectors notable. 21 countries took part in this trade fair which was organized by Export Promotion Bureau and the Ministry of Commerce.
